Are you interested in an annual Port Kennedy Street Sundowner? (",)

I thought I would ask around Nunton and Benbecula streets if the idea of an annual Street Sundowner is of interest to anyone living here?

I am absolutely not associated with any group at all. I just live here. A friend of mine mentioned the idea to me because they had one on their street once a year and it sounded like a great idea.

Basically, the street just walks out front with a drink and snacks on the day. We have a street long fence to lean on as well. I don't know about entering the oval of the school, that might be a legality that needs checking out. Technically, I believe, if we are on our own properties we are allowed to drink. By drinking I mean civilised, adult drinks not adolescent binge drinking (",)

Maybe an annual Sundowner is a good idea, maybe it isn’t? If you would like to be a part of something like that, or not, then, feel free to comment here.

Again – I am not a business or group, I won’t start converting, advertising or selling anything. Also, I won’t take over the Sundowner.

My opinion is that it should be family orientated, not a boozey piss up ('scuse the French :P) Just a simple way to make the streets more friendly and established, no need to be buddies everyday of the week but once a year might be good fun.
